Simply put, money conversations are hard - money talk ranks up there with religion, politics, and our sex lives. No wonder we avoid talking about it - and especially in these uncertain times. Our relationship with money is complex, just like our relationships with loved ones, coworkers, ourselves, and our bodies. On top of that, money is often paired with feelings of anxiety, fear, shame, guilt, and embarrassment. “I’m bad with money. I'm overwhelmed. I keep making the same mistakes. I spend too much - and on the wrong things. I have more debt than I care to admit. Confidence with money is for other people, not me.”
Does this sound all too familiar? Now, imagine a different scenario. It’s not so hard anymore. You feel confident in your relationships, in the work you do and the money you earn. You laugh. You have fun. You trust yourself and your choices. You have a clear sense of direction and feel good about how you earn, save and spend your money.
Money-related anxiety has been around for ages, but financial therapy is fairly new. This is where I come in. I help those with money worries gain confidence and clarity in their relationship with money, and in their lives. In addition, my Telehealth practice allows me to share my expertise across the state. I welcome your call or email - let's get started.
